Central Asia and the Caucasus Seminar Series

Description of the Seminar Series

A series of public seminars on topics in the history, culture, and politics of the Central Asian region.  The Central Asia Seminar usually meets once or twice monthly on Tuesday afternoons at 4:15-6:00 in the CGIS S-354 seminar room.  The primary focus is on the former-Soviet Central Asia, the Caucasus, and surrounding regions, including Afghanistan, Western China, Mongolia, and Southern Russia.  The Seminar is open to all members of the Harvard community and is chaired by Laura Adams and John Schoeberlein.
